IPA's for the second quarter (posted 11/22/11)

Individual Performance assessments will be held during the week of January 2-5. All wind students should prepare "Lil' Darlin'" from the "Cutting the Changes" book. Students will play the song along with the CD and one chorus of improvisation. All wind students will also play the following scales: Concert C, Concert F, Concert Eb, and Concert Ab. Tempo is quarter note=72 and must be played in the scale pattern that we have done in sectionals.

Percussionists will perform No. 6 from the Podemski Standard Snare Drum Method. Tempo is quarter note = 120.

Third quarter seating auditions (posted 11/22/11)

Seating auditions for the third quarter will be held January 24-27 during the sectional. All students will play the first part for their instrument to "The Liberty Bell". Percussionists will play the snare drum part. Tempo is quarter note=120, key is F at the beginning and Bb at the trio.
